An introduction to the Yale Federal Research Data Center - April 16

YUL Census 2020 series
April 2, 2019

The Yale Federal Research Data Center, funded by the Cowles Foundation for Research in Economics, is one of 29 Federal Research Data Centers. These centers are partnerships between research organizations and U.S. federal statistical agencies; they are secure facilities managed by the Census Bureau to provide secure access to restricted-use microdata for statistical purposes only.

On April 16, 11 AM-12 PM in the Sterling Memorial Library Lecture Hall, Shirley Liu from the New York branch of the Federal Statistical Research Data Center will talk about the Yale Research Data Center (YRDC), the process to obtain permission to use the data, and what types of data are available. Graduate students and faculty are welcome to attend this event to learn about how to use the YRDC.

This event is part of the Yale University Library’s Eye on the Count: Census 2020 series and is generously co-sponsored by the Cowles Foundation for Research in Economics.
