Marsh Botanical Garden: Yale’s Hidden Jewel

Experience a virtual tour of plants and trees at the Marsh Botanical Garden! Beauty abounds in this exhibit as photos of specimens for all four seasons are featured. Outside and greenhouse plants are represented including carnivorous plants and Ylang Ylang, the plant used in making Chanel No. 5. Other features are: highlights of O.C. Marsh’s life; plans of Beatrix Farrand, the landscape architect; directors of the garden, and historical documents.
 
Visit the exhibit at the Center for Science and Social Science Information (CSSSI) located in Kline Biology Tower (Directions to the CSSSI can be found at: http://csssi.yale.edu/directions). The exhibit was curated by Lori Bronars and Gwyneth Crowley, designed by Mark Saba, and is currently on view through February 2015, at the CSSSI’s 24-hour space.
