Tell your story with Story Maps - April 11

Esri Story Map Tour
April 1, 2019

Story maps, which combine maps and multimedia content to enable web-based storytelling, are an increasingly popular tool for researchers. On April 11, join instructors from Esri and the Yale University Library to learn more about how to create rich multimedia narratives through story maps...and through ArcGIS StoryMaps, a new storytelling tool that makes it even easier to create maps and weave them into stories.

In Story Maps: The Basics, you'll learn the ABCs of story maps, including what they are and how they're being used to communicate complicated analyses, final projects, and even visual resumes. (10-11 AM, 17 Hillhouse room 111)

Bring your story ideas to Story Maps: A Hands-On Workshop and members of Esri's Story Maps team will show you, step by step, how to assemble a multimedia narrative. You'll learn the ropes of ArcGIS StoryMaps, including tips and tricks to make your graphics pop and engage your audience. (11-11:30 AM, 17 Hillhouse room 111)
