Directions to Marx Library

Our temporary entrance is located in the Yale Science Building concourse. 

Yale Library access is limited to current Yale students, faculty, and staff. A current Yale ID is required for entry. We regret that we cannot welcome other visitors at this time.

Entry via Yale Science Building (YSB) - Southeast Entrance 

Marx Library is accessible via the southeast entrance of YSB located across from the Kline Geology Laboratory (KGL), facing Whitney Avenue.

Once inside YSB, take the stairs or elevator up to the concourse level. Walk by the O.C. Marsh Lecture Hall and dinosaurs to continue through the concourse.

The Marx Library entrance will be located on the right-hand side next to the stairs to Steep Cafe.

Entry via Yale Science Building (YSB) - South Entrance

Marx Library is accessible via the south entrance of YSB, facing Sachem Street.

Once inside YSB, walk by the O.C. Marsh Lecture Hall and dinosaurs to continue through the concourse.

The Marx Library entrance will be located on the right-hand side, near the stairs to Steep Cafe.

Entry via Steep Cafe in Kline Tower (KT) Pavilion 

To access Marx Library through the KT Pavilion, proceed through Steep Cafe, then take the stairs or elevator down one floor to the concourse level. 

The stairs to the concourse are located near the north entrance, facing the Bass Center. The elevator is located near the entrance facing YSB. 

The Marx Library entrance is located at the bottom of the stairs.
