Services while the CSSSI is closed

February 25, 2019

The CSSSI is closed on Monday, February 25 and until further notice due to loss of power in Kline Biology Tower. Please continue to check csssi.yale.edu for updates.

While we are closed, the following services will be affected:

Access to materials

Materials in the CSSSI stacks, as well as materials that have already been delivered to the CSSSI, will be unavailable until we reopen. These items cannot be sent to other Yale locations during this time.

Print reserve materials at the CSSSI will be unavailable until we reopen.

EliExpress deliveries will be re-routed to Bass Library. Patrons will receive email notice if this affects their requests.

Access to spaces

The CSSSI’s group study rooms and classroom will be unavailable. If you have reserved a space while we are closed, you will receive email notification that your reservation has been cancelled. Please visithttps://web.library.yale.edu/places/to-study to explore other library locations.

Access to research help

CSSSI librarians are still available to meet with researchers at other locations on campus and to respond to queries by email. Please visit https://csssi.yale.edu/research or email your subject librarian: https://web.library.yale.edu/subject-specialists.

StatLab consultants will be available at the Cushing/Whitney Medical Library on 2/25 and 2/26. Visit the StatLab schedule for the most up-to-date information about when and where to meet with consultants: http://statlab.yale.edu/walkin/schedule.
